A source conflict is a stop signal
If a chat message, site photo, old drawing or informal instruction conflicts with a current approved source, do not average the answers or choose the convenient one. Preserve both, identify their authority and revision, assign resolution, and hold affected work where safety, compliance, quality or irreversible cover-up is at risk.

Resource Management Act 1991
National resource-management legislation within which planning and resource-consent processes operate.
Applicability: The RMA remains in force. The Planning Bill and Natural Environment Bill are reform proposals and must not be presented as current law. Check amendments, national direction, the Auckland Unitary Plan and the issued project decision.
